Furley Page adds newly qualified solicitor to corporate team
An appointment by leading Kent law firm, Furley Page, brings a newly qualified solicitor to its highly regarded Corporate team, which is regarded as one of the best in the business and is ranked alongside some of the biggest law firms in the South East.
Will King graduated in 2014 with First Class Honours from London South Bank University, when he joined Furley Page as a Legal Assistant in the Personal Injury Team. The 25-year-old completed his training with the firm, gaining experience in the Corporate Team, Dispute Resolution Team and Real Estate Team.
Expanding Hampshire Chamber strengthens team
Hampshire Chamber of Commerce has strengthened its marketing and business development reach with two strategic appointments.
Marketing executive Joanna Saunders is working from the chamber’s Wates House head office in Fareham while business development manager David Kemshall is based in Basingstoke.
The appointments come amid expansion plans for the business membership organisation, the county affiliate of the British Chambers of Commerce.
FreeAgent Appoints New Senior Partnerships Manager
FreeAgent, the cloud accounting software provider, has announced the appointment of a new senior partnerships manager to help further expand its influence in the UK small business sector.
The company has recruited Matt Perkins to the new position, who will spearhead FreeAgent’s partnership work with fintech companies and organisations that support small businesses across the country, as well as working with partners across FreeAgent's banking and accountancy channels. In addition, his role will include overseeing the company’s involvement with NatWest’s new Entrepreneur Accelerator programme - the UK’s largest fully-funded business accelerator network.
Drooms appoints Rosanna Woods as managing director UK
Drooms, the leading provider of data rooms in Europe, today announces that Rosanna Woods has been appointed as Managing Director UK.
Ms Woods is responsible for the entire UK operation, with responsibility for the team, including training and development, distribution of Drooms’ software solutions, strategic business development and customer retention.
Former Global CEO of Fitness First appointed as Chair of JustPark
JustPark, the UK’s highest-rated consumer parking app, today announces the appointment of Oren Peleg, the former Global CEO of Fitness First, as its new executive chairman.
Peleg, who has been supporting JustPark since July, now formally joins the newly restructured executive team, which also includes Lewis Tasker as the new Chief Operating Officer, as well as Songkick’s former finance director Paul Herdemian and ex-Gumtree Tara Benson, now the business’s Finance and Marketing Directors respectively. The new hires reflect JustPark’s ambitious plans to expand its presence in the parking industry, in the UK and internationally.
Sarah Speake joins Talking Talent as non-executive director

Rooney signs for WorldSkills UK
WorldSkills UK, the education and skills charity, has announced the appointment today (14 November 2018) of Rooney Anand as the new Chair of the WorldSkills UK Board. Mr Anand, who is CEO of the national pub retailer and brewer Greene King, will take up his post in January 2019.
