Liz spent 19 years at global manufacturer Toyota, followed by seven years at national mutual life insurer Wesleyan Assurance Society, where she became chief operating officer and board member.

Studio Bolsters Senior Team to Support Growth Plans
Studio.co.uk, has appointed three new senior hires to its Accrington HQ, as it prepares to accelerate its business.
The three senior appointments include Ian Smith as the new head of IT strategy and architecture; Justine Thompson in the newly created role of head of asset and facilities management, and Jill Tofalos, as head of customer service operations.
The three individuals bring with them extensive retail and customer experience from brands including Marks & Spencer, Littlewoods and Natwest. This follows last year’s appointment of Claire Hill from Boohoo as customer experience director.
New appointments set to inject growth into North Staffordshire and Derbyshires healthcare sector
Healthcare businesses across Staffordshire and Derbyshire are to get access to more specialist support after Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking strengthened its team of relationship managers.
David Langridge and Neil Smith joined the team earlier this year and will now focus on providing tailored finance and guidance to businesses such as doctors’ and dentists’ practices, pharmacists and retirement homes with turnovers between £3 million and £25 million or borrowing requirements above £150,000.
Both David and Neil have more than 30 years’ experience supporting small-to-medium sized companies. David previously provided support to agriculture firms across the region while Neil worked with SME businesses across a range of sectors.
