Dame Fiona joins Grosvenor Estate trustees

The Grosvenor Estate has announced that Dame Fiona Reynolds DBE will be appointed as a trustee with effect from 1 January 2018.

The trustees are the non-beneficial owners of the privately-owned Grosvenor Estate and represent the interests of Grosvenor family beneficiaries both living and future generations.

Dame Fiona holds a number of other non-executive roles. She is a non-executive director of Wessex Water, chair of the Cambridge University Botanic Garden, the Green Alliance, the International National Trusts Organisation and the Cathedrals Fabric Commission for England.


Suzanne Grahame named Golden Charter chief

Funeral plan provider Golden Charter has named Suzanne Grahame as its new chief executive officer.

Grahame joins from law firm Addleshaw Goddard where she was executive director following the amalgamation with Scottish commercial law firm HBJ Gateley, where she was chief executive.


Humphrey appointed RationalFX CEO

Foreign exchange expert Chris Humphrey has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of UK foreign exchange and international payments provider RationalFX.

Humphrey will take over with immediate effect from co-founder Paresh Davdra who is stepping down from the role to focus on his role as CEO of RationalFX’s sister-brand Xendpay.


Dettmar named Outsource UK chief

Outsource UK, one of the UK’s largest and fastest growing independent specialist staffing agencies, has announced that Nick Dettmar will succeed Paul Jameson as  chief executive.

Dettmar’s promotion comes after working as chief operating officer at Outsource UK for three years. From January, he will take over as CEO, with a handover period effective from today

Sue Asprey Price joins JLL

JLL has appointed Sue Asprey Price as the company’s new lead director of its corporate solutions business in the UK.

Joining from corporate real estate services firm Source8, Asprey Price has significant business development and leadership experience, and has overseen the implementation of transformational projects through real estate services.

Prior to this, she was the head of consulting for EMEA at CBRE.


Neil Hamilton named new CMS partner

CMS has announced the appointment of leading securitisation and structured finance specialist Neil Hamilton.

Hamilton joins CMS as a partner in the firm’s capital markets and derivatives (CM&D) team in London.

He joins from Jones Day and previously was a partner at Clifford Chance for many years.


Will Samuel joins Laing board

John Laing Group has appointed Will Samuel as non-executive chairman designate with immediate effect.

He will succeed Dr Phil Nolan as non-executive chairman, who will step down from the board following the annual general meeting on 10 May, having served as chairman since early 2010.

Samuel - who is also chairman of Tilney Group and TSB Bank - has held a number of additional senior positions throughout his career.
