Topman brings in former New Look director
Topman has appointed former New Look menswear director Christopher Englinde as its new global brand director.
Englinde joins the menswear chain following an eight-month stint as an independent industry advisor and consultant within the fashion industry.
Liberty London names Mehboob-Khan as CEO
Department store Liberty has named former Luxottica chief Adil Mehboob-Khan as its new CEO.
Mehboob-Khan left his role as CEO of Luxottiva in December having held the role since 2014.
He will succeed Ed Burstell who left Liberty back in October 2016.
Weightmans keeps up London pace with top corporate hire

The leading firm of solicitors has appointed 10 new associate and senior associates across its offices in the South East.
In Southampton Nicola Maier (workplace illness) and Rob Coleridge (commercial litigation) have been promoted to senior associate.
The law firm's Gatwick office has promoted Aurelia Butler Ball (commercial), Charlotte Sloan (employment), Clementine Burch and Thomas Barnard (litigation) to senior associate. George De Silvo (corporate) and Vanessa Horn (real estate) have become associates.
In the Newbury office, Sarah Paton in tax, trusts and estates has moved up to associate, while in Chichester, real estate solicitor Lorraine Rose has also been promoted.
Metro Bank boosts mortgage team
Metro Bank has announced the appointment of Jeremy Cook as head of corporate relationships within its mortgage team.
He will report directly to Charles Morley, director of mortgage distribution, and will take up the position on 2 April.
Overseeing the management of key corporate relationships, Cook will work closely with major networks, clubs and intermediary firms as the bank continues to expand its mortgage services.
Kelnar promoted to partner at MMC Ventures
Following a highly successful year for the firm, MMC Ventures has announced the promotion of its head of research, David Kelnar, to partner.

David Kelnar was uniquely suited to head MMC’s Research team. His technology research experience was gained at Goldman Sachs and New York hedge fund, Calypso Capital.
