Wyles named Hampshire Trust Bank CEO
Hampshire Trust Bank has announced the appointment of Matthew Wyles as its new CEO.
This follows the announcement late last year that Mark Sismey-Durrant, who has been CEO since 2012, had decided to retire once his successor was in place.
Prior to joining Hampshire Trust Bank, Wyles was a director of Castle Trust Capital plc and prior to that served for five years as an executive director of Nationwide Building Society.
Frith named new R3 president
Stuart Frith, a partner at Stephenson Harwood LLP, is taking over as the new president of R3, the insolvency and restructuring trade body.
Frith is an insolvency and restructuring specialist who has been operating in this area for more than 30 years.
Yallop joins OpenFin board
OpenFin, the operating system powering digital transformation across financial desktops globally, has announced that Mark Yallop has joined the firm as a non-executive board director.
Yallop serves as an independent member of the prudential regulation committee at the Bank of England and as chair for the fixed income, currency and commodities markets standards board.

New CEO for the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC)
The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) has named Neil Carberry as its new chief executive. He will take up the role on 25 June.
Carberry joins the REC from the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) where he is currently managing director, leading the CBI’s work on the labour market, skills, energy and infrastructure.
