“The team at Practical Photography has been living life through a lens for decades. Now we can share our ‘how-to’ video lessons, creative techniques and inspirational projects with a wider audience of photography enthusiasts that want to up their skills and get more from their cameras.”
Rob Beynon, group CEO, DMA Media, said: “The huge popularity of on-demand video, often consumed on the move, combined with digital natives discovering a love of photography through social media, is a timely backdrop for the launch of Photography Now.
“With 34% of UK consumers naming photography as a hobby, peaking at 41% among 16-34-year-olds, and 24% saying it’s a hobby they’re interested in trying, Photography Now is set to become the ‘must-view’ channel for photography enthusiasts.”
