Easy Teasy celebrates first Darlington stockist

Newcastle-based loose leaf tea company Easy Teasy is celebrating after securing their first stockist in Darlington.

Darlington boutique Maison Royale will now be offering Easy Teasy’s fine loose leaf tea and handcrafted glass tea ware alongside their range of original products and designs from local artists and craftspeople.

Angela Kingsley, founder of Maison Royale, agreed the deal after being impressed by the assortment of 18 loose leaf tea flavours put forward by Easy Teasy owners Tom Webb and Luci Cowie.

“We really admire Maison Royale’s ethos of supporting local artists and craftspeople in the North East and it’s a perfect match for our target market – especially in the run up to Mother’s Day,” said Luci.

The design store, based at the Cornmill Shopping Centre, will sell teas including peach sencha green tea and orange blossom, as well as the company’s newly developed tea-infused chocolate.

Kingsley added: “Being located in the North East, we love to support our home grown brands and currently showcase products from over 65 local artists, designers and makers who supply our store with a wonderful and unique range of products. Plus, I am a huge tea fan!”
