Cameron Brewery continues Yorkshire expansion

Cameron Brewery is continuing its expansion throughout Yorkshire and the North, after investing it its first pub in Sheffield, creating 30 jobs.

The latest pub, The Old Monk, will be the Hartlepool based firm’s eighth branded Head of Steam Venue.

The Venue, which is due to open in April, is to undergo a full refurbishment that will transform the site.

The company will also continue to work alongside Longhorns Barbecue Smokehouse which will oversee the running of the kitchen at the new Head of Steam venue, delivering a smokehouse BBQ menu to customers.

Chris Soley, Director & General Manager at Camerons Brewery, said: “It is an exciting time for the company as we look to develop our brands through significant investments and launches throughout the Northern region.

“The Old Monk acquisition fits perfectly into our growth plans and will be an exciting addition to our Head of Steam portfolio in Yorkshire.”

Camerons’ latest acquisition follows the addition of its second Head of Steam location in Leeds, in Headingley, which is also undergoing a complete refurbishment and is expected to open in April.
