GAS currently helps businesses reduce their variable costs and save money in a range of areas including energy procurement, energy and water cost management, fire safety, telecoms and insurance.
Companies across the region are now reporting cost rises in a range of other areas and in response GAS has set up six new services to meet this demand.
One of its new areas will be security and surveillance – in particular, costs associated with alarm and CCTV monitoring and installation – while a separate addition will focus on IT requirements such as data hosting, network protection and cloud computing set-up and migration.
GAS can now also help other businesses refine and improve their waste management, office equipment and private medical insurance, while a sixth new offer will help customers manage their heating, ventilation and air conditioning costs.
Bradley Groves, chief executive and chairman of Great Annual Savings Group, said: “These additional new services will add a different dimension to our business and act as a catalyst for further growth. More importantly, they will help businesses across a vast range of sectors to manage their variable costs.
“By implementing simple measures in these key areas, businesses can also significantly improve their carbon footprint and ensure they are complying with legislation.”
The move follows a period of sustained growth at GAS, which has almost trebled staff numbers from 40 last June to around 110.
The aim now is to increase headcount at the firm to 150 by the middle of this year.
