The company, whose HQ is in Newcastle, is supporting law firm Leigh Day as it is invests in its IT systems.
James Harrison, associate director of IT at Leigh Day, explained: "As part of our long-term strategic plans we wanted a reliable and proactive IT partner to support those decisions and effectively advise what we should and shouldn’t be doing. TSG came recommended to us having spoken to other national law firms."
TSG SystemCare is a 247 monitoring solution combining remote technologies with a team of support professionals and engineers. It is designed to protect businesses against catastrophic system failure, downtime and data loss.
Harrison said: “So many of our lawyers’ day to day work is conducted through Outlook, so any systems outage that affects email could prove chaotic, especially in an industry where time is key. It's reassuring to know that someone else has their eyes on our IT infrastructure.
“If we do encounter any problems it is invaluable to have TSG’s vast knowledge and experience to tap into as they deal with these issues on a daily basis with so many customers of a similar size to us.
"What might take us hours, or even days to research and resolve can be addressed almost immediately by TSG. Their national network also means that their teams in London and Manchester can get to us promptly if the need arises.”
Paul Burns, chief technology officer at TSG, said: “We understand the need to align technology to meet the specific requirements a business has to ensure they continue to operate at all times. This is particularly crucial in time recorded environments.”
Leigh Day has future projects planned with TSG to improve systems performance with infrastructure and hardware upgrades, as well as plans to secure its network further with automated protection against the latest cyber threats.
