Whitley Bay restaurant voted Diners' Choice

A Whitley Bay restaurant has been announced the ‘Diners’ Choice’ by restaurant-goers in the North East according to reservation booking system, OpenTable.

Hinnies Restaurant, which opened in February on East Parade, won the title based on customer ratings on categories such as food, service, ambiance, value and ‘fit for foodies’.

The restaurant, owned by Andy Hook and business partner Dave Townsley, serves up a selection of Geordie comfort food’s using local and seasonal produce.

Andy Hook, managing director of Hinnies said: “We are delighted to receive this
