The agency, which specialises in developing communication campaigns for the financial and healthcare sectors, was awarded the contract extension after securing unprecedented levels of press coverage for the firm during 2015 and leading the communication of its rebrand.
Lian Chambers, group marketing and business development director at Parseq says: “From day one I knew the GLR Public Relations’ team brought the expertise, governance and media contacts I needed to deliver the challenging PR agenda I faced.
“Having GLR Public Relations in my marketing armour means that whether there’s a crisis to handle, product to launch or thought leadership piece to promote, we are placed directly in the path of our audiences – whatever their preferred media channel.”
Parseq, which has six UK offices, represents some of the largest household brands including the top ten international banks and a sizable proportion of the country’s insurance and utility businesses.
GLR Public Relations was first appointed by Parseq in 2014. Since then the Yorkshire-based agency has expanded its contract to become the firm’s sole provider of Public Relations and social media management services.
Joanne Gill, director of GLR Public Relations says: “When we start working with a business or brand our aim is not to be viewed purely as a supplier of services, but rather as a partner and an extension of their internal team. It’s an approach that really works and we’re pleased to say that not only did we end 2015 with a number of new business wins, but we also started 2016 with several contract extensions and new appointments.
“Parseq has lots of interesting stories to tell and ambitions to achieve and we’re delighted to be a part of enabling both.”
