Tech North has announced that Lisa Wood, chief marketing officer at Durham-based Atom bank, has joined its advisory board.
Responsible for customer experience, proposition design, marketing and PR, Lisa is building a new brand from the ground up to engage and attract customers.
With 23 years’ experience in financial services, Lisa has held roles across marketing disciplines, including building propositions, brand development and acquisition marketing.
Before moving to Atom, Lisa was head of marketing at first direct, responsible for refreshing their brand positioning and re-engaging a younger target audience.
Herb Kim, chair of the Tech North advisory board says: “Among Tech North’s 5 Key Objectives, our first objective is to ‘Raise the profile of the Northern tech sector and the companies within it by uniting the regions to tell one great story.
“Given Lisa’s depth of experience in marketing and technology as well as living and working at some of the most high profile companies in the North we couldn’t have identified a better person to have joined the Tech North Advisory Board.”
Lisa joins existing advisory board members Herb Kim, Hugh Campbell of GP Bullhound; Lee Perkins of Metronet, and David Richards of Wandisco.
