The Sunderland-based housing association is searching for a new CEO following the resignation of John Craggs.
Gentoo Group has announced the resignation of its chief executive officer, John Craggs.
The group will now make interim leadership arrangements whilst it conducts a thorough recruitment process using external consultants.
Gentoo recently announced the appointment of new chairman Keith Loraine OBE. Keith has 40 years’ experience in the housing sector and spent the last 24 years as CEO of Isos Housing Group.
Keith brings a wealth of knowledge of the local area, and the North East more widely. He also has a strong understanding of the requirements of the Homes and Communities Agency as a regulator and will assist Gentoo through his knowledge of governance, finance and performance best practice.
Keith Loraine OBE, chairman designate, said: “We would like to thank John for his efforts in helping reshape the group over the last two years. We wish him good luck for the future.
“Myself and the rest of the group board and executive team will continue to progress Gentoo’s strategy and vision for great homes, strong communities and inspired people.”
