Houghton-le-Spring-headquartered Pacifica Group is expecting to build on a record year by creating new jobs and expanding.
The Group, which provides home services, is targeting revenues of more than £45m after seeing turnover rise to £37.2m last year – up from £27m in 2016-17.
It is set for further expansion through strategic acquisitions over the course of the year, having acquired several companies in 2017-18, including domestic and white goods repair company Megan Technical Services and Award Appliances, as well as engaging with renewables firm Oakes Energy to expand its offering to customers.
The group is also looking to build on a record, five-year contract secured with npower last year, as sole provider to the energy supplier, to deliver a range of Energy Company Obligation (ECO) services nationally, as well as loft and cavity wall insulation.
Pacifica Group handles in excess of 230,000 service calls annually and employs more than 480 staff, including 250 field-based engineers operating throughout the UK.
Kevin Brown, group managing director of Pacifica Group, said: “The Group is in a position of strength as we gear up for continued expansion, following another successful year. Our growth ambitions are being realised as we continue to secure large contract wins and develop new relationships, which has increased our market share and consolidated our position as one of the UK’s leading providers of home services.
“Further acquisitions are to be expected over the course of the next 12 months, which will complement the Group’s organic growth, leading to the creation of more jobs within the company nationwide. It is set to be another record year for everyone associated with Pacifica Group, and we are looking forward to a bright future.”
