Ahead of Venturefest Tees Valley taking place on 22nd May, we look at the local firms taking part in the Innovation Showcase and what makes them so special…
Mike Styan tells us about CourseBox.
CourseBox is a secure and fully automated online marketplace, connecting individuals seeking training across a wide range of industry sectors with the courses that meet their needs. It’s free to use, and allows users to search the whole market, ensure they’re getting exactly the training and certifications they need, and have records of all training.
If you’re interested in finding out more about how CourseBox could help you, about how it works, or about being involved in the business as it grows, go and meet them as part of the Innovation Showcase at VentureFest Tees Valley.
VentureFest Tees Valley is free to attend and takes place on Tuesday 22 May, 2018 at Wynyard Hall. Bringing together business leaders with funding and innovation experts, VentureFest features a fascinating keynote from Mark Chapman, chief engineer of The Bloodhound Project, a British-led collaboration using a 1,000mph World Land Speed Record attempt to inspire the next generation to get involved in STEM subjects.
The BLOODHOUND SSC supersonic car, will be powered by both a jet engine and a rocket, which together will produce 135,000 horsepower – more than six times the power of all the Formula 1 cars on a starting grid put together.
Registration is open now at www.venturefest.tv.
