Small businesses from across County Durham are being encouraged to attend an event exploring the world of Google tools, services and products.
Following on from last month’s Google conference, the Getting to Grips with Google event at Beamish Hall this Thursday will explore recent announcements from one of the world’s largest technology companies as well as some tips and tricks to help small businesses to succeed and grow.
The day forms part of the Digital Drive County Durham programme of business support delivered on behalf of Business Durham, the economic development organisation for Durham County Council, to help small businesses make the most of digital technology.
Some of the topics covered on the day will include maximising the Google toolkit, YouTube and video marketing, Google Analytics, Google Adwords and mastering search engine optimisation (SEO).
Businesses from across the county are being urged to register to attend the one-off special event, which is available fully funded for eligible businesses.
Sarah Slaven, business development director at Business Durham, said: “Digital Drive County Durham is a programme to help businesses in the County make the most of digital technology in order to succeed and grow.
“I’d encourage everyone across County Durham to take advantage of this opportunity to find out more about the great range of tools that Google offers and how using the full toolkit effectively can really boost a small business”.
