Co-founders of NOVELTEA and expert tea mixologists, Vincent Efferoth and Lukas Passia, are due to make an appearance on BBC Two’s series Dragons’ Den. Scheduled for broadcast this Sunday.
Launched in April 2017, NOVELTEA is the first brand in the world to create tea and alcohol fusions to test and tickle taste buds.
NOVELTEA’s blends start with tea, taking inspiration from its ingredients and origins to create unique flavours that can be enjoyed hot or cold. Ranging from a quintessentially British combination of Earl Grey and gin (The Tale of Earl Grey), to an exotic pairing of Moroccan green mint tea and white rum (The Tale of Tangier), to the recently launched Chinese oolong tea and Scotch whisky (The Tale of Oolong), NOVELTEA offers a refreshing twist to your afternoon tipple.
Efferoth and Passia will encounter Dragons Deborah Meaden, Peter Jones, Jenny Campbell, Tej Lalvani and Touker Suleyman in the 16th season of the programme.
They will face the daunting challenge of pitching to the Dragons in just three minutes followed by a Q & A session, in order to encourage potential investment bids in exchange for a stake in NOVELTEA.
The Dragons are notorious for their intense and unrelenting scrutiny of businesses, with nerves regularly overcoming even the most confident entrepreneurs. If successful, Efferoth and Passia must decide whether any offer(s) made to them are acceptable and in the best interests of NOVELTEA.
Tune in to watch NOVELTEA on Dragons’ Den on Sunday 4th November at 8pm on BBC Two.
