Klaudia Robinson, Sam Shaw and Lewis Hunt have all joined Seymour Civil Engineering as Apprentice Management Trainees.

Endeavour Partnership has appointed a new partner to its commercial dispute resolution department.

Alex Smith, from Newcastle, qualified with the firm in 2008 and later became an associate with Endeavour Partnership’s commercial dispute resolution team.

David Fish has joined the Baldwins Accountancy Group in the role of Corporate Finance Director for the North East region which covers eight different offices.

Clare Sangster, who lives in the region and has 13 years’ experience within the recruitment industry, specialises in the placement of Engineers and skilled professionals into manufacturing, engineering and technical environments.

Dodds Brown, the largest independent commercial property consultancy headquartered on Teesside, has appointed a new Facilities Manager.

Andrew Carr, 43, joins Dodds Brown with more than 20 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager with the British Army, UK Government and a large education centre.

Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, Gareth Davies has joined the Bond Dickinson Wealth team. Gareth's experience gained in an accountancy practice and latterly Brewin Dolphin where he was divisional director will prove invaluable to the wealth management services Bond Dickinson (and its regulated subsidiary Bond Dickinson Wealth Limited) offers.

A bespoke software development consultancy has welcomed a new Lead Test Engineer to its Newcastle headquarters.

Originally from Dumfriesshire in Scotland, Wullie Trimble, 40, has taken up the role, which marks an expansion to Scott Logic’s team of software testers, after taking redundancy from his previous post at Hewlett Packard in North Tyneside.

Former Membership Director at EEF, the manufacturers’ organisation, Andrew Buckley has been appointed as Chief Executive of innovation and technology transfer company, RTC North.

Andrew will take over from RTC North founder, Gordon Ollivere MBE, as Chief Executive on November 1st 2016.

Vicky Drysdale is a divisional director at investment management firm Brewin Dolphin and previously spent eight years at private bank Brown Shipley where she played a key role in establishing their Edinburgh office.

Aquib Yusaf has joined the firm’s successful trainee programme, working in Lodders’ top ranking Private Client team.

The firm’s Real Estate team has appointed Mursila Sohail as Associate, and Sophia Khan joins as solicitor in Lodders’ Residential Property team from Coventry practice Maya & Co.

Warwick University graduate Lydia Elvin is the latest paralegal to join Lodders’ Company Commercial team, whilst Michael Brook, who joined the firm as a trainee in 2014, has qualified into Lodders’ Private Client team.

Abbey Tax, the UK’s leading Tax Fees Insurance provider and Independent Tax Consultancy to accountants has appointed Christian Stobbs as Managing Director to oversee the next stage of the business’s exciting development.

Edd Stanton joins the real estate asset management specialist as a Senior Asset Manager from GBR Phoenix Beard, now part of Savills.

A trio of senior hires have been made at the Birmingham office of professional services consultancy WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, including a technical director for the rail division.

Carol Stitchman brings with her more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. She is joined by associate in the highways and bridges department, Swadesh Mukherjee, who has more than two decades’ experience. 

Also joining is senior engineer Simon Edwards, bringing with him six years’ experience, a Masters’ Degree from Birmingham University and a chartered member of the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE).

National commercial property and construction consultancy Naismiths has announced the appointment of Mark Bevan as director, based at its Birmingham office, as it continues to bolster its senior team.

Mark, who has more than 35 years’ experience in property and construction, will lead project management services in the Midlands region. He is the latest of a series of key appointments at Naismiths’ offices in Birmingham, London, Bristol and Manchester.

Business software experts Opal Wave have made three key appointments to their Bradford team after recording a 50 per cent turnover increase in the last financial year and predicting a similar rise in 2016-17.

The new recruits, based at Opal Wave’s offices in Bradford’s Peckover Street, bring its staffing there plus its other sites in London and Beirut to 35. The newcomers are account manager John Gavin, new business sales executive Joshua Baterip and inside sales executive Mujahed Akhtar.

4 new recruits have joined Barnsley chartered accountants and tax advisers Harris+Co over the summer bringing total staff numbers to 36.  Leanne Revill joined as a payroll administrator from a Sheffield firm and will be studying for a Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals Diploma.  

Matthew Lewis joined from a big 4 accounting firm and will continue his training to become a Chartered Certified Accountant. Bethany Morgan-Mackenzie and Hannah McFadden have both joined as accounting apprentices from Barnsley College and will train to become Accounting Technicians.

The next generation of IT support and tech talent has been hired by Blue Logic at its head office in Leeds.

Four apprentices joined the company in August this year to begin Blue Logic’s apprenticeship programme. 

The new recruits are Ali Al-Fadhli from Wortley, Daniel Hoult from Garforth, Keenan Eddy from Roundhay and Zahid Rahman from Chapel Allerton.
