23 new jobs with Espresso Web

Digital marketing agency Espresso Web is set to double its sales team and expand into bigger premises as it looks to push turnover through the £1m mark.

The Middlesbrough-headquartered business expects to create at least 23 new jobs in the coming months.

Business partners Stephen Robinson and Greg Langstaff are fully refurbishing the unit on Riverside Park to include a large, modern office, canteen, meeting room, games area and even a gym in a bid to create a “community hub” for its growing workforce.

“Adding the new unit has given us a great sense of direction and allows for our exciting expansion plans. The additional space we have gained gives us the perfect platform to expand without limitations whilst investing back in our team,” said Mr Robinson.

The firm was set up in April 2012 by Robinson from his family home, with Mr Langstaff quickly coming on board to steer sales.

Since then Espresso Web has grown year-on-year, with turnover expected to reach the £1m target in the next financial year.

The 27-strong team is currently made up of web developers, graphic designers, creative writers, SEO specialists and sales experts.

In January the company plans to hold a recruitment drive to double its 15-strong sales team and create a further eight skilled jobs in web design, development and SEO.

Mr Langstaff said: “We constantly invest in our workforce because we know that by looking after them, we will get the best out of them. It is because of our talented team that this company continues to go from strength to strength.”
