£100,000 investment pays off for PK Education

After a £100,000 investment into infrastructure and rebranding, Newcastle-based supply teacher agency, PK Education, is on course to create a further eight jobs.

Currently employing more than 40 people in consultant and compliance manager roles across the company, the firm has grown from a two-person office to a network of four offices.

Lee Carpenter, director of PK Education, said: “We have come a long way since establishing the business.

“It’s a very exciting time for us and we thought it was an important that our brand reflected our ambition to be a leading supply teacher agency in the UK.”

Established in 2005, the company has four bases spanning Newcastle, Sheffield, Nottingham and Birmingham, and, thanks to its investment in rebranding, exceeded its projected turnover of £11m last year.

Owner and designer of Moors Creative, Kristian Moors, who developed the new PK brand said: “We’re very pleased with the new brand. It reflects the dynamic, forward-thinking organisation that PK Education is and sets it apart in what is a very crowded marketplace.
