Stockport-based Innova has 30 years experience in designing, manufacturing and installation of interiors and furniture for the education, commercial and healthcare sectors.
Their aim is to inspire, attract and motivate staff and students alike, with state-of-the-art classrooms to accommodate new styles of teaching and learning.
With turnover predicted to increase by 21% in 2016, capacity is being boosted with the appointments of Clive Walters and Ian Hewitt to the design team and Andrew Rowbotham to the estimation team.
Additionally, Kiel Odgers takes a role as contracts manager while Annie O’Connor fills the position of finance and administration manager. Stewart Woodburn joins from Saint Gobain as the production manager.
Director Peter Smith said: “It’s fantastic to be able to start the year on a positive note, talking about expansion and job creation – two phrases that all business owners love.
“With the completion of a clutch of high profile projects, 2015 was an extremely successful year for Innova. Building on this, our multi-sector product offer and varied pipeline of projects for 2016 mean we are now in a fantastic position where we can invest in our facilities and increase capacity with a host of talented new recruits.
“Central to this investment in the business is the installation of brand-new, specialist equipment that will give us the ability to manufacture more flexibly and manage even higher volume orders. Combine this with the fact that we have increased our staff and skill base – and the future is looking bright.”
Further investment in new machinery at Innova’s base is scheduled to complete later in the year.
