Social Chain has taken Alex Partridge on board to head up its Facebook network growth and to support with the development and implementation of their creative campaigns.
Partridge, now 27, first set up Unilad as a student whist studying at Oxford-Brookes university. During the initial stages of success Partridge used the Unilad platform to launch his second venture Lad Bible, which he later sold in 2012.
Social Chain was established by entrepreneurs Steve Bartlett and Dominic McGregor in 2014.
The creative young team at Social Chain have grown the business, now boasting the ability to make 200 million people see a message at once, and have worked with huge brands such as Spotify, Comedy Central and Hungry House, being awarded The Drums Social Media Agency of the Year in December 2015.

Based in Manchester, the marketing agency has 35 full time staff in their head office and are set to open the doors to their first overseas office in Berlin this year.
