Batman v Superman range bolsters Character World

Cheshire-headquartered licensing business Character World has launched a blockbuster new Batman v Superman range.

The movie, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice which was released in the UK on 25th March, sees the world’s greatest superheroes - Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman – on screen together for the first time.

To meet expected consumer demand Character World has produced a full Batman v Superman range, which is available now at Argos, Tesco and other major retailers. The range includes duvet covers, a cushion, curtains, bean bag, fleece blanket, a poncho and a towel.

Tim Kilby, brand director of Character World, said: “Batman is the single most successful superhero film franchise in history and there have been more movies based on Batman than any other comic book hero.

“It’s great to be able to create a range for such an exciting new movie that brings together a very popular group of superheroes.

"With Batman v Superman being the first movie in a new multi-year slate of DC Superhero movies, our new range will provide consumers with an eye-catching introduction to the DC Universe, with other new superhero ranges coming in the future.”

The new Batman vs Superman range joins Character World’s large superhero licensing portfolio including Marvel’s Avengers, Spider-man and Captain America.

Founded in 1998, Character World works with some of the world’s leading entertainment companies. It supplies retailers across the UK including Asda, Next, Tesco and John Lewis.
