Line up revealed for Liverpool’s Binary Festival

Liverpool’s Binary Festival has announced its final programme of keynote speakers and satellite events for the inaugural two day gathering of the city’s creative and tech sectors.

The festival will showcase the city’s tech and creative capabilities and draw internationally renowned speakers to tell their own stories about their experiences at the ‘digital revolution’ frontline.

The finalised speakers and events underline the city’s diverse strengths, with a programme spanning well-established local creative talent, through eHealth and virtual reality technology, to new perspectives on commercial and social enterprise.

Mark Lawler, co-chair of Baltic Triangle Area CIC & Commissioning Body for Binary Festival, said: “Our intention for this first year of the Binary Festival was to open the doors to our digital businesses and showcase the great work that is being created here in Liverpool.

“The Binary team has put together a programme that begins to capture just how diverse - and sometimes eclectic - the city’s tech strengths are, and we’re confident that this two day event will inspire further creativity, collaboration and growth in the sector.”

He added: “We’re delighted to have the support from our pioneering sponsors North Point Global, Tech North, UKTI and Invest Liverpool – but also from Liverpool’s creative and digital communities that have embraced the festival’s ambitions and helped created a unique platform that we can develop and expand in the coming years.”
