Co-working helps Empactis expand North West presence

Cloud based Empactis – a leading provider of employee health, absence and engagement solutions – has praised the emergence of co-working spaces for helping it expand its North West footprint.

As the first occupier of MediaCityUK’s new creative co-working space, Work Nation, marketeer Verity Hodder of Empactis has praised the new flexible office space in the Greenhouse.

Prior to the launch of Work Nation, Verity, from Urmston, Manchester worked from home, but said she missed the benefits and interaction that working in an office brings.

Hodder believes the space has helped her generate more networking and commercial opportunities from being around like-minded businesses and entrepreneurs.

She said: “Our team are spread all over the UK and we all work remotely. While working from home is very convenient for me, particularly when it comes to managing family commitments, I still miss working in an office environment.

“Now, I’m based in a thriving hub, where there is an intrinsic culture of collaborative working which is really refreshing and exciting.”

Empactis’s solutions help many organisations including NHS Trusts, British Gas, Eddie Stobarts United Biscuits, Mencapl and Serco deliver their business goals through reducing the risks and costs associated with employee absence, health and engagement.

“Our clients are based all over the UK and being based at MediaCityUK offers lots of commercial and networking opportunities right on my doorstep, making it more than just a desk for me.”
