Entrepreneurial Spark chiclet plans for a smiley future

Family owned company Love Bomb Cushions, who are on the official Entrepreneurial Spark Programme in Leeds, have relocated their distribution warehouse to TKC Sales in Steeple Ashton and announced plans to continue growing.

Sarah Agar-Brennan founded the company in 2015 with help from the Business Enterprise Fund after noticing a demand for quality novelty cushions.

Operations director Carl Agar-Brennan said: “We wanted to create an incredibly high quality product which was fun, safe and had real potential -so that’s exactly what we’ve done.

“Part of the process is to ensure that facilities and working conditions meet with high ethical standards”.

The company has experienced high demand during the Entrepreneurial Spark Programme, and have expanded their warehouse l and distribution channels.

Love Bomb Cushion’s products are now distributed through TKC Sales Ltd, which handles over 10,000 shipments a year and offers more warehouse space to the company.

Sarah said: “This new location is another improvement to our manufacturing system and will allow us to distribute our products even more efficiently.”

The company also continues to grow internally, with the new hire of internal PR & marketing manager Paige Hughes.

Paige will oversee the growth of the brand ranging from a new website to coordinating Love Bomb’s presence at events.

She said: “It’s such an exciting time to join the company and we’ve got so much stuff lined up for everyone.

“We’re planning a large upgrade of the brand and providing a really high-quality product, the main aim is to put a bit of fun back into retail.”
