The latest intake includes 64 graduate appointments, along with five school leavers who join the business as part of the business advisory firm’s BrightStart programme. The five-year training and development scheme is available to students following A-Levels, and covers a wide range of areas including audit, consulting, financial advisory and tax.
Of the new recruits, 59 will be based in the firm’s Manchester office, with the remaining 10 working from Liverpool. Deloitte currently employs more than 750 staff across the North West.
This follows a successful year for the firm, having reported revenue growth of 11.2% in the year to May 2016 – topping £3bn for the first time.
Richard Bell, practice senior partner at Deloitte in the North West, said:"The latest recruitment is a clear sign of our commitment to developing the next generation of business talent, but also to opening up opportunities in, and access to, the financial and professional services industries.
"As always we are about identifying the very best people, wherever they come from, so that we can continue to grow in the region and provide the most complete range of services to our clients."
