Bitsol Systems will play an essential part in the success of the race by ensuring a network of 48 track management cameras they have installed are working faultlessly throughout the two-day event.
Located at key points around the 3.4mile Circuit of The Americas track, in Texas, the devices must deliver crystal clear images to Race Control as well to racing teams such as Williams, Maclaren and Mercedes.
They are critical for spotting potential problems, responding to crashes and monitoring performance.
Greg Buchanan, Bitsol’s managing director, said: “This will be the third year we have worked with the teams in Texas and we are proud to be doing so again.
“We are proud that a Manchester company is playing such a key role in providing support to such a high profile international event.”
Formed in 2012, by ex-Royal Navy submariner Greg Buchanan, Bitsol Systems provides IT support for a wide range of businesses across the UK.
The company also specialises in providing security-cleared personnel for work on sensitive projects.
