Record year for Beever and Struthers

Beever and Struthers has recorded its best year in its 118-year history following another year of sustained growth.

The firm, which has 22 partners and 200 staff at offices in Manchester, Blackburn and London, achieved its highest turnover on record in 2016.

During the year it saw income from associated interests total £11.8m, representing growth of more than 7% in comparison to last year. 

In addition, for the fourth year in succession, Beever and Struthers gained a new client at a rate greater than one per working day.

Beever and Struthers also won “Best Accountancy Firm of the Year” at the Lancashire Business Awards 2016 which is the firm’s fourth regional award since 2013.

Managing partner, Phil Roberts, said: “Our record results for 2016 are testimony to the efforts of all our hard-working and dedicated partners and staff who have a real desire to achieve better things on behalf of their clients.

“From our point of view this makes a very compelling story and one we look forward to repeating in 2017 and thereafter.”

Beever and Struthers is the sole accountancy and business advisory firm in the North West within HLB International, a global network of independent accounting firms and advisors based in 130 countries worldwide, with 2100 partners and 19,000 staff in over 600 offices.

The firm has staff who speak more than 13 different languages such as Chinese (Cantonese), French, German, Greek, Spanish, Gujarati, Hindi, Malay, Punjabi, Spanish, Swahili and Urdu.
