Laura Earnshaw of My Happy Mind won two awards at the BQ Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year awards dinner last night (22 Feb).
The Alderley Edge entrepreneur was crowned ‘Emerging North West Entrepreneur of the Year’ and also won the 'Atom Bank People’s Choice Award.'
My Happy Mind provides an innovative technology led curriculum for schools which helps prepare today's children for tomorrow's world by building resilient, balanced and happy minds at school and at home.
Speaking about her win, Laura said: “I am still on a huge high from the fantastic event last night. To win my category and be named Emerging Entrepreneur of the year was just incredible and left me filled with gratitude and pride.
“To then be voted as the People’s Choice Award winner by the hundreds of entrepreneurs and business leaders who voted was just the icing on the cake. I am so humbled and inspired to have ‘done the double’ and these awards will truly spur me on during the inevitable rollercoaster of being a tech entrepreneur!
“Thank you to all who voted for believing in me and in my vision to bring an innovative solution to primary schools around mental wellbeing."
