A record £8bn of transactions – including a single £1bn payment - has seen First Capital Cashflow expand to create eight new jobs.
The fast-growing Cheshire firm, which provides cloud-based Direct Debit and Direct Credit services to clients across the UK, has doubled the size of their offices, moving into a new site in Daresbury, after a period of sustained growth.
First Capital Cashflow processed £8 billion worth of transactions for clients last year, the largest amount in the businesses 15-year history.
Transactions include a one-off transaction of £1 billion, processed in an emergency on behalf of a public-sector body.
Conrad Broadbent, managing director of First Capital Cashflow, said: “The business has gone from strength to strength over the past 15 years. Our high standards of service mean the majority of our clients have remained loyal to us, with six of our original 10 clients still using us to process their Direct Debits. Over the last few years we’ve also enjoyed a marked increase in the numbers of new clients choosing to process their collections with us.
“This rapid growth meant we became too large for our existing office space. It seemed like the perfect time to purchase our own premise, giving us a solid platform for further growth.”
The business now boasts a 20-strong team at the new site in Daresbury. The team processes Direct Debit collections for a wide range of clients including the UK’s first challenger bank, public sector bodies and leading insurance and energy companies.
First Capital Cashflow is an industry leading payments processing company, with over 15 years’ experience in managing and facilitating Direct Debit and Direct Credit payments for businesses and organisations across the UK. They operated from their previous site in Sutton Weaver since the business was founded in 2001.
