Ed Dwan, head of BDO in the North West
Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO LLP has promoted 78 people across its North West team, reflecting its investment in people and talent.
The promotions span the tax, audit and advisory practices in the North West, as well as its support functions. BDO has promoted a record high of 1,110 UK-wide.
BDO has appointed 25 new partners over the last financial year and announced 280 new trainees last month. The firm has also recently launched a new wellbeing strategy internally, focused on the importance of mental health and wellbeing, as well as a new personal development framework.
Ed Dwan, head of BDO in the North West, said: “These 78 promotions really underline the talent we have within the North West team. One of the best parts of my role is to share good news like this and it is so rewarding to see each of these individuals succeeding in their respective roles.
“BDO continues to grow because our people continue to provide our clients with innovative solutions and the very best support. Our success is all because of our team and their continued hard work and commitment.
“As a firm, we are committed to investing in our people, creating an environment where talent and hard work is recognised and rewarded, with continued professional development encouraged. It’s important to us that our culture is a supportive one, allowing people to be the best that they can be – essential if BDO is to continue attracting the brightest and the best.”
