Radius goes global with expansion into US market

Crewe-based Radius Payment Solutions, the fuel and payments management company, is continuing its growth plan by opening of its first North American office in Boston.

The new office will be focus on promoting its Kinesis telematics product, which has been developed through the technological expertise of its in-house software development team, to SMEs.

The vehicle tracking solution enables live updates on location and performance as well as driver behaviour to be assessed remotely using iOS & Android Apps by fleet managers, facilitating more efficient fuel use and driving style.

Bill Holmes, CEO at Radius Payment Solutions, said: “The opening of a Radius US office marks a major new step in the development of our international business. We have chosen Boston as our launch location for a variety of reasons including ease of access to Manchester, availability of bright local talent and good North America transport connections. We have started by selling our award winning telematics solution Kinesis and will be following on with fuel cards and a full suite of fleet solutions as the business develops.

“We will be supporting our new local employees with some of our experienced European managers.”     

The announcement follows Radius’ expansion into the Asian market in 2016 with office openings in Singapore and Malaysia to build a more global client portfolio and to push sales of Kinesis and its Shell fuel card to new customers.

The new office will initially create six jobs, with more to follow in the new year.
