Haydock-based Allay has expanded into larger premises thanks to rapid growth and increased demand.
The new office additionally includes a HQ for the firm’s flight delay compensation app, airFair – the first of its kind in the UK, which has also experienced a rise in claims since its launch.
All 104 employees have made the move to a 5,700 sq ft. space at The Parks Business Park in Newton Le Willows from Central Manchester.
The relocation brings local job opportunities with roles available in operations, customer service and sales, showing Allay’s commitment to sustaining and creating local jobs in the North West.
As well as accommodating the firm’s growth, the new office is undergoing design works to provide employees with breakout areas including an outdoor picnic zone for al fresco lunch breaks and an indoor games room complete with a dart board, pool table and games consoles.
Allay, which helps consumers claim back money following the mis-selling of products has had a presence in Haydock since 2015, with airFair emerging in 2016.
Developed in the North West, airFair was the first UK company to launch an App to make the flight delay compensation process easier for passengers, providing a platform from which to make a DIY claim from as early as in the departure lounge.
Steven Bell, managing director of Allay, said: “Our Haydock office is an integral part of the firm’s operations, and the enlarged space will allow us to continue to add to the team as part of our company-wide expansion.
“Both Allay and airFair have seen significant growth over the last 12 months due to increased demand following the launch of our innovative consumer app and PPI claims deadline coming into force.
"This has led to a recruitment drive now, but these are long-term jobs as we’re already looking into new products and services which could see consumers benefit from our claims expertise, from mis-sold payday loans to home improvements.”
