Incremental Group, the digital technology services company, has acquired Cheshire-based Gap Consulting, a Microsoft Gold Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Partner, in a deal that strengthens Incremental’s overall offering and UK coverage.
Gap Consulting, which is one of the UK’s leading players in CRM, employs 40 people and is headquartered in Northwich. The company operates in complementary vertical markets to Incremental, with particular expertise in the health, professional services and not-for-profit sectors. The acquisition adds critical mass and expertise for Incremental in England.
This move takes Incremental’s overall headcount to 125 across 3 main delivery sites (Glasgow, Inverurie in Aberdeenshire and Northwich in Cheshire) supported by sales offices in London and Manchester.

Incremental, who works alongside commercial and public sector organisations to enable digital transformation, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics, also provides intelligence, cloud, applications and consultancy services. It opened its Manchester office in Q1 of 2018 and the group’s customer base includes BP, Total, Aggreko, Scottish Leather Group and The Scottish Government. With a growing customer base in oil and gas, public sector and manufacturing, Incremental is also increasingly targeting the professional services and large corporate markets, which this acquisition accelerates.

Incremental Group is targeting £60m revenue by 2022, with a workforce of more than 500. Neil Logan said: “While we are seeing a strong pipeline of organic growth over the next couple of years, we will continue to evaluate potential targets to identify value accretive acquisitions.”
