North West-based online fashion retailer MissPap is set to expand internationally by launching a website specifically aimed at American customers.
With the competition such as Boohoo, Missguided and Pretty Little Thing already trading in the USA, MissPap is aiming to build on its existing social media following stateside.
The business will launch a new website, hosted on www.misspap.com whilst the .co.uk site will continue to serve the UK and European markets. On the .com site the products, assets, campaigns, delivery options, currency and everything else will be completely tailored towards the USA customer. MissPap will also have a new warehouse on the ground in California to support all operations.
John Quinn, CEO of MissPap, said: “This is perhaps our biggest and most exciting project to date. Misspap.com is just a fantastic way to expand and build its reputation overseas. We are constantly overwhelmed by the success of MissPap in the UK and if we achieve this level of success in America, it would be immense. What we are most focused on is bringing the MissPap values of on-trend fast fashion and affordable products to the USA customer.”
“We do understand the difference in customer and this is perhaps our trickiest thing to conquer, however, once this is achieved there is no reason that MissPap can’t be one of the biggest fashion companies to succeed in America. We have the team, we have the plan and more than anything we have the determination.”
The American site will go live towards the end of this month.
