North-West security specialists, Radium Security Systems, have been supported by a six-figure funding deal with Royal Bank of Scotland to acquire its existing trading premises in Widnes.
Acquired for an undisclosed sum, the family run company has bought Unit 4 on Turnstone Business Park, cementing its long-term future in the area and strengthening its financial position.
A sequence of refurbishment works has now begun on the premises to improve facilities and operational ease. A new showroom is being created on the ground floor for customers to experience the technology on offer.
Established in 1982 by director Paul Robinson, Radium Security Systems Limited provides hi-tech alarm and security systems to homes and businesses across the UK. In recent years the business has experienced strong growth, with turnover increasing 40% in the last two years.
Paul Robinson, director of Radium Security Systems Limited said: “We are really pleased that the acquisition of the premises has been successful. We have operated from here for the last two years and the property suits our business well. It also offers plenty of space to accommodate ongoing growth.
“The support we have received from Royal Bank of Scotland and our Relationship Manager Tom Parry has been excellent. Tom has been on hand throughout the complex acquisition process to provide us with any guidance and assistance we have needed.
