Andrew Haigh, the new conveyancing solicitor at Coles Solicitors.
Coles Solicitors, which has been serving clients across the region for a decade, has expanded its residential conveyancing team following continued growth in the area.
The Yorkshire based outfit, which has a network of 10 offices throughout the county, has announced the promotion of Andrew Haigh to residential conveyancing solicitor.
This expansion is being supported by a wider recruitment campaign throughout the firm which should see upwards of ten staff added to its roster.
The recruitment drive includes at least two conveyancing solicitors, four assistants, an additional private client solicitor for York, and various administration positions.
Coles' expansion of its conveyancing services comes as local councils are being urged to build more and more homes to make up the housing deficit - which some estimates claim to be over one million homes.
Recently promoted Andrew said: “This is an exciting opportunity for Coles to expand the residential conveyancing provision throughout Yorkshire as well as providing a dedicated service in York, where there is significant demand.”
The firm is continuing to strategically expand its service offering in York to both commercial and individual clients, with Andrew’s promotion playing an integral part of this.
Speaking of the expansion, Director of Coles Solicitors, Alex Spurr, said: “This promotion enables the firm to increase the services available to clients across Yorkshire with Andrew continuing to deliver a first-class conveyancing service to clients, together with strengthening and establishing new working relationships with agents in the York region.
“Whilst we have always offered access to our full range of legal services from any of our branches, the expansion will mean we have more core services based in key locations, making it easier for customers to access specialist legal advice on their doorstep.”
