Warehouse renovated

York-based developer Grantside has relocated its head office to the firm’s own Bonding Warehouse development on the south bank of the Ouse at Skeldergate Bridge in the city.

The company, led by managing director Steve Davis, has recently completed a total renovation of the historic former customs warehouse, creating 11,700 sq ft of luxury offices and four exclusive penthouse apartments. The scheme includes York’s first £1m apartment, which was sold off plan.

The move will see Grantside relocate from Station Business Park in Holgate to 2,500 sq ft of bespoke offices on the ground floor of the listed Victorian warehouse.

The Bonding Warehouse is the latest of the company’s developments, which also includes obtaining planning permission for the Chocolate Factory former Terry’s site in York, and delivery of 1 million sq ft of offices in the North East.
