The expansion follows the company’s acquisition of Staffordshire firm Twyford which will move to a new state-of-the-art office complex next to Geberit’s current headquarters at Tournament Fields.
Sackville Developments, which owns and develops Tournament Fields, has agreed a deal to create the new 22,500 sq ft, two-storey building which Geberit will then lease back.
The development will see the creation of 30 new jobs across marketing, customer service, finance and technical support areas of the business.
Mark Larden, UK managing director for Geberit and Twyford, said: “The recent take over means that we are uniquely positioned to combine Geberit’s behind the wall technology with Tywford’s bathroom design excellence, to create a leading sanitary business that reaches both trade customers and the general public.”
The ground floor will be home to Geberit’s training academy where plumbers, installers and bathroom salespeople will attend workshops to be trained on the latest bathroom technology.
There will also be a 400 sq m showroom featuring the latest bathroom designs and technology, while the second floor will host all of Geberit’s central operations.
Tournament Fields, owned by Sackville Developments, is a 50 acre business park located just off the M40 motorway, to the south west of Warwick.
