Father and daughter team Dean and Layla Gassabi are recruiting kitchen and front of house staff to work in Le Bistrot, due to open in the next few weeks.
The new eatery hopes to build on the 18 year success of popular venue Maison Bleue, which already employs 35 people, and will be the first extension of the Maison Bleue brand.
Mr Gassabi said: “The fact we are creating these new jobs is something else to feel extremely positive about
“We want to be in the area for years to come and to create a must-visit restaurant that will build on the success of Maison Bleue – and that means finding exactly the right staff.”
Offering plenty of outside seating, the family hope the space outside will become a major draw in Morningside, creating a sense of Parisian café culture, particularly when serving Saturday and Sunday brunches.
Le Bistrot is due to open on Morningside Road in the second week of April, with an extensive refurbishment well underway.
