The firm, which is part of the Babcock International Group, received the awards for outstanding business achievement in the fields of international trade, acknowledging the company’s work in the liquefied petroleum gas sector, and the innovation award for its vent gas cooler technology.
Babcock, which has grown its workforce from 40 to over 120 in four year, can expect an invitation to attend a celebratory reception at Buckingham Palace.
Neale Campbell, programme director at Babcock, said: “This is a very proud day for every member of the Babcock team.
“Receiving one Queen’s Award would have been a remarkable achievement, but to have been successful in two categories really speaks volumes about our team, and the ambition and dedication it has demonstrated to make us a global leader in LPG technology.”
