The deal will see the Larbert-based company supply Brakes with its award winning Scottish tablet as of 1 May.
This is yet another success story for Mrs Tilly’s which has produced fudge, tablet and macaroon since 1997.
The company started in the Paterson family’s kitchen before they expanded and relocated to their current location in Falkirk.
It is now commissioning two new production lines to support its growth and development both at home and abroad.
Speaking on the success, Blair Paterson, managing director of Mrs Tilly's, said: “We are delighted to have secured this new business with Brakes Scotland and we appreciate their support.
“From our initial meetings with them at Scotland Food & Drinks, Showcasing Scotland Event at Gleaneagles in October last year, it was clear that Brakes are focused on continuing to strengthen their Scottish range and we are excited to be working with them to help achieve this.
“We have collaborated closely with the brakes Scotland team to ensure we deliver product formats that are relevant to their customers and we are confident that we have achieved this.”
John Mclintock, operations director for Brakes Scotland, added: “Tablet is continuing to grow in popularity and it’s important to us to source a good quality tablet brand for our customers in Scotland.
“It’s exciting to be working with Mrs Tilly’s as they invest in new machinery to expand their operation in Larbert and we are confident we will be part of the Mrs Tilly’s success story.”
