The new 554 sq ft store is one of only four stand-alone Urban Decay stores in the country.
The California-headquartered retailer, founded in 1996, has evolved into a global brand, opening stores in North and South America as well as across Europe.
Poducts available at the store include a wide range of lip, eye and nail colours as well as a vast range of other makeup and body products, featuring collaborations with well-known artists including Gwen Stefani.
Richard Crowther, asset manager for British Land who own Meadowhall, said: “Urban Decay is a prominent international brand and is a unique addition to our retail offer and we are delighted to have secured the brand’s first store outside London. “
The news follows the announcement that Meadowhall owners are to submit a planning application to create a £300m Leisure Hall at the shopping centre.
CBRE and Smith Young acted for Meadowhall.
