The company, which is based at The Deep Business Centre in Hull, has been appointed by developer Nightel Ltd to work on the first Hampton by Hilton Hotel in the Humber region.
Hull-based Nightel has been providing dedicated accommodation to workers in the offshore oil, gas and renewables workforces at Humberside Airport since 2007 and in recent years has developed its services to meet the needs of other air travellers.
The company already operates one hotel at the airport and another in Hull. The new addition represents a £7m investment and is being supported by North Lincolnshire Council with a Regional Growth Fund grant.
Facilities will include a restaurant, bar, 24-hour fitness centre and on-site parking when the hotel opens next month.
Graham Jenkinson, who founded Frazer Carter with co-director Adam Carter, said: “We won the contract because of the strength of our contacts and business relationships, which is why we set up our own business in the first place.
“We haven’t worked for Nightel before but they became aware of our capabilities and awarded us the contract which is worth £300,000. We’ve just started the job and will complete it towards the end of July.”
Mr Carter will lead a team of 11 on site. Meanwhile the office team, which began with Mr Jenkinson operating from a pod at The Deep, will complete its move into a 500 square-foot suite.
