The two buildings of 141,225 sq ft and 327,730 sq ft have been leased from global industrial and logistics real estate specialist Prologi.
The 327,730 sq ft building will become part of Jaguar Land Rover’s expanding manufacturing operation, while the 141,225 sq ft facility will be the new headquarters for Jaguar Land Rover Classic.
The buildings are close to the Jaguar Land Rover Special Operations Vehicle (SVO) Technical Centre, which the company established at Prologis Park Ryton in 2014.
“We are delighted that Jaguar Land Rover has chosen to expand its operations at Ryton,” said Andrew Griffiths, managing director at Prologis.
“We are investing in our prime sites to create the best opportunities in the market for our customers, and we are pleased that the two speculative buildings meet Jaguar Land Rover’s requirements.”
