£50,000 boost for Caledonian Campers

Family-run campervan hire, conversions and sales company Caledonian Campers Ltd has received a £50,000 boost towards growing its fleet.

The Glasgow-based business specialises in all things campervan, with an aim at boosting Scottish tourism and allowing customers to purchase both budget and luxury campervans.

After a period of rapid expansion owners Stevie and Isla Hutton turned to commercial finance brokers ABL Business Scotland for a cash injection to purchase the latest vehicle to its fleet.

Working with ABL’s Robert Perrie, Caledonian Campers decided the best course of action would be to turn down a new crowd funding route, as well as securing the £50,000 loan.

“The Service was professional and there were no hard sales. Robert really got to understand our business and needs,” said business director Ms Sutton.

“The approach taken by Robert means he got full understanding of our business and requirements, speaking to our accountants and us to ensure that we got the best financial solution to help our business growth objectives. “
