Hull firm to create 1,200 jobs in Seaham

Hull-based outsourced communications firm ResQ has opened a new call centre in Seaham, County Durham with 1,200 new jobs expected over the next three years in IT, HR, training and support roles.

ResQ has also reported its best ever year of trading with sales growing by 22% to £12.5m and over £1m earnings before tax.

The company has seen its turnover and profit grow thanks to a number of operational enhancements including a change in the firm’s internal IT structure, as well as a boost in returning contracts from overseas.

Nic Marshall, CEO of ResQ said: “I am really pleased with ResQ’s performance during 2015. We met all of our objectives for the year – improved financial results, enhanced operational efficiencies and most importantly heightened levels of client satisfaction, which have in turn contributed to our stable growth.

“2015 was a transformational year for us and we have our sights firmly set on continued expansion and job creation in 2016.

"We have secured significant investment which has enabled us to open a new call centre in the North East of England which will accommodate our continued contract successes and eventually enable us to double the capacity of the business.

Gill Marchbank COO of ResQ added: “Our success is a reflection of the abilities and dedication of our amazing team of staff, without whom we wouldn’t be able to achieve this outstanding success.

"We instil a hard working yet fun and enjoyable work culture at ResQ and our investment in our employees is testament to our success.”
