The move by the leading hotel chain sees it welcome dogs to its hotels for the first time, many of which are nestled within acres of land and scenic garden surroundings.
An ever increasing number of holiday makers are opting to stay-cate with their pet – with many even choosing to forgo a holiday altogether rather than leave their dog at home – and Hallmark is set to capitalise on this.
Robert Alley, group sales and marketing director at Hallmark Hotel, said: “The growth of the UK stay-cation, the price of kennels and the increasing desire to holiday with our hounds have all contributed to a major rise in demand for pet friendly hotels.
"We’re therefore delighted to be able to offer our guests the opportunity to get away with all the family.”
Dogs booked in on the Hallmark Hotels Pawfect Package will be greeted by a personalised card and welcome pack in their (owners’) room on arrival.
The welcome pack comes complete with dog treats, paw mat and dog bowl, a large bottle of still water, a towel and a map of the hotel grounds and nearby parkland to explore.
The package is available for just £15 per dog.
